Area 45 Day of Sharing

The Day of Sharing is a one-day event that brings together Area 45 and the three (3) Intergroups to ensure unity in carrying the A.A. message.

The purpose of this event is an inventory and to discussion of how collectively we carry the message of A.A. in Southern New Jersey.

Each Intergroup rotates hosting the event. All are welcome to attend.

Cape Atlantic is the host of this day.

Area 45 Inventory – Date Rescheduled

This is an “inventory” of how the services and work of Area 45 are performing.

A “check-in” or a check-up on all aspects of services provided by Area 45.

Date is being re-scheduled to October.

Area 45 Assembly

An Area 45 Assembly is a quarterly meeting of the Area General ServiceRepresentatives, District Committee Members, the Area Committee and the three Intergroup Chairs.

Assembly meetings consider a variety of issues, from General Service Conference business to Area 45 problems and solutions.

Attendees at an Area 45 Assembly will hear reports from the Area panel. They will be informed of what type of service work is being performed by our Area committees and relay this information to their home groups.

GSRs have the responsibility to give their respective home group’s conscience on agenda items as they are discussed, debated and eventually voted upon on the assembly floor.

CAYPAA Committee Meeting

Cape Atlantic Young People is a committee that hosts social events focused on the fellowship of members who obtained sobriety at an early age. “Resentment Bonfire on the Beach”, Comedy Nights, Skating Party and other social gatherings are planned through the year and need volunteers.  Anyone can attend the monthly planning meeting.
