About H & I
Meetings at Hospitals and Institutions
The H & I Committee works with several institutions /treatment facilities in our service area to bring an A.A. meeting to those receiving treatment.
Any of our Groups can make a monthly service commitment to bring an A.A. meeting to people new to recovery. The sign up process for these commitments happens at the monthly Intergroup Business Meeting.

Readings for the Meeting
Groups bringing a meeting to a recovery center will be provided with a meeting packet containing the below readings at the monthly Intergroup Business meeting.
Ask your Intergroup Representative for this packet.

New Service Opportunity
Intergroup is looking for members
with flexible schedules
who could commit once a month, to bring a meeting to newcomers in our area.
Anyone who is available during the afternoons
to visit recovery facilities in our area,
please reach out to join our list of volunteers.
This is vital 12 Step Work.

How to Request a Commitment
The meeting commitments are assigned at the monthly Intergroup Business Meeting, held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Intergroup office.
Groups can send a representative (Intergroup Rep/IGR) to that meeting where all groups participate in a lottery for selection of the Group assigned to bring meetings to a specific facility.
