Our Hotline is often the first place the general public acquires information about A.A.
We can help callers specifically within these areas of Southern New Jersey:
- Atlantic County
- Cape May County
- parts of Ocean County
-On average, our volunteers answer 100 calls a month.
-We offer help and information about the A.A. program of recovery.
Who Answers the Calls?
The Hotline is answered by sober members of Alcoholics Anonymous. We do not have a call center; Hotline calls are automatically routed to the personal phones of volunteers 24/7 where individuals can connect to support and get help with a drinking problem.
How We Help
Using their own experience with alcohol and recovery through the program of A.A., volunteers offer suggestions to callers who want to get help with a drinking problem. We do not recommend treatment facilities and we are not trained therapists.
Additionally we can guide families and friends of the alcoholic, who struggle with their role in a drinking problem.
